How does it Work?
The active ingredient in Tadaga is tadalafil. It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors.
During sexual arousal, nitric oxide is released within the penis. Nitric oxide relaxes blood vessels, increasing blood flow. This results in an erection of the penis. However, an enzyme called PDE5 interferes with this process. It may cause some men to lose their erections too quickly. Tadalafil, being a PDE5 inhibitor, blocks this action.
When a person is sexually excited, tadalafil helps increase the effects of nitric oxide. This allows blood to flow freely to the erectile tissue. This helps men get an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.
However, sexual arousal is still needed for tadalafil to work. The medicine cannot activate an erection on its own. It only helps the process that takes place during arousal.
