How does Cenforce 100 mg work

Cenforce 100 mg belongs to a class of drugs known as PDE 5 inhibitors. It contains Sildenafil that blocks the action of the PDE 5 enzyme and allows the blood flow properly to the penis.

cGMP is responsible for the contraction and dilation of blood vessels. PDE 5 breaks down cGMP and obstructs the flow of blood. Sildenafil present in Cenforce blocks the action of PDE 5 and increases the levels of nitric oxide by inhibiting the breakdown of cGMP. Once cGMP is produced properly, blood flows easily to the penis. As more and more blood flows to the penis, a pressure is created. This results in an erection.

Uses

Cenforce 100 mg is used for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Erectile dysfunction – also known as impotence, it makes a man unable to achieve or sustain an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse.

Dosage

Cenforce 100 mg is recommended to be taken orally, once daily. It should not be taken more than once in 24 hours. It is usually taken as and when needed, roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour before any sexual activity. It can be taken with or without food. 

Missed Dose

Since this medicine is taken as and when needed, the chances of missing a dose are less likely.

Overdose

An overdose of the drug can lead to severe side effects and deteriorate your existing condition. In case of an overdose, seek medical help immediately.

Cenforce 100 mg should be taken with caution in certain situations as they may interfere with its working or aggravate the side effects. Let your doctor know:
