  1. I had been using topical Minoxidil earlier. Got to know that oral Minoxidil is much more effective. Have been using these pills for like 4 months and I can already see a significant amount of hair growth. Will order more soon.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Ans. Minoxidil tablets are used to treat alopecia in men and women. These tablets come in two dosages: 5 mg and 10 mg. The effects of this medicine are noticeable in 3-6 months after following a daily dosage.
Ans. Minoxidil is a vasodilator that widens the blood vessels. This allows more oxygen, blood, and nutrients to flow to the hair follicles. It helps to promote hair regrowth and as a result, stops hair loss. It causes the weakened hair follicles to shrink so that new hair can grow in its original place.
Ans. Minoxidil works as long as you keep up with the medication. Abrupt termination of Minoxidil will lead to hair loss as blood flow decreases to the hair follicles. Termination of the course at any time will lead to progressive hair loss within 12 to 24 weeks.
Ans. Some common side effects of Minoxidil include headaches, nausea, vomiting, scalp irritation, hives, chest pain, and dizziness. If problems persist for long, contact your doctor without delay.
Ans. According to some studies, it may thicken hair follicles and make hair longer. However, Minoxidil is not a permanent cure for hair loss. It may be useful as long as you continue the treatment.
Ans. It can be used by men and women between ages 18 to 65.
