Artvigil Dosage

- For narcolepsy, patients take one tablet during the day.
- For shift work disorder, people take a tablet one to two hours before the shift starts. This ensures that peak levels of the medication are reached when the work starts.
- The impact of this medication lasts for 10-14 hours. The duration depends on the patient’s age, health conditions, lifestyle etc. You should consult a doctor before using these tablets.
Missed Dose
In case you miss a dose, take one as soon as you remember. If you don’t need to stay awake for the next couple of hours, skip the missed dose. Follow the usual course the next day.
Do not take two tablets to compensate for the missed dosage, as it may result in serious side effects.
Overdose
Overdosing may result in serious health problems, e.g., breathing difficulties, fluctuations in heart rate, etc. This may be fatal. In case of such accidents, seek immediate medical care.
