How does it Work?
Cenforce 25 mg contains Sildenafil Citrate, a member of the PDE5 inhibitor class. It works by blocking the enzyme that breaks down cGMP, a substance that helps relax blood vessels in the penis, leading to increased blood flow. This improved blood flow supports a firmer, longer-lasting erection when sexually aroused.
When sexually stimulated, the blood vessel lining in the penis releases nitric oxide (NO), which in turn triggers the production of cGMP in the smooth muscle cells of the penis. cGMP then causes these smooth muscle cells to relax, which widens the blood vessels in the penis. This relaxation allows more blood to flow into the corpus cavernosum, the spongy tissue within the penis. The increased blood flow fills this tissue, resulting in an erection.
These pills do not directly cause an erection but rather enhance the natural erectile response by improving blood flow in response to sexual stimulation.
Uses
It is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It helps improve blood flow to the penis, allowing men to achieve and maintain an erection during sexual activity. It is taken when sexual stimulation is expected, as it works only in response to sexual arousal.
