How does it Work?

Dytor 10 contains torasemide, also known as torsemide. It helps reduce fluid buildup in the body due to various medical problems.

Kidney or heart disease, for example, can cause the body to trap fluid in the tissues, resulting in swelling and discomfort in the feet, ankles, and legs. Diuretics like torasemide help the kidneys flush out the excess salt and water through urine. Clearing the extra water lowers blood pressure.

This is how diuretics clear extra fluid and salt (certain electrolytes) out. Less fluid flowing through the veins and arteries makes their work easier, helping lower blood pressure (hypertension).

Dytor 10 mg Uses

  • excessive swelling (known as edema) due to water retention
  • hypertension (high blood pressure)

Recommended Dose

The usual starting dose is 1 tablet once a day, taken orally. However, the dosage can vary according to your condition. For example, 10 or 20 mg of torsemide is taken daily if edema is due to heart failure. If the swelling is caused by liver cirrhosis, the starting dose may be lower. Your doctor may start, change, or stop your dose as needed. However, the maximum dose should not go beyond 200mg a day.

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of tab dytor 10mg, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for your next dose, leave out the missed dose altogether. Then, continue with your usual dosing schedule. Never use double doses or extra doses to make up for a forgotten one.

Overdose

Dytor 10 Tablets need to be taken at the right dosage. Only then can it produce the desired results. Taking too much ED medication can lead to serious side effects.

Torasemide overdose can lead to extreme dehydration. The excess loss of electrolytes can cause an imbalance in potassium, magnesium, or sodium levels. Symptoms can be severe low blood pressure or fainting. Get immediate medical attention if there is an overdose.
